VISIONS OF SUGAR PLUMS BY JANET EVANOVICH
Review created: 11/03/06(updated 11/10/06)
I bought it because it was a Janet Evanovich Stepahanie Plum book, but it was not quite up to her regular standards. The characters weren't believable enough, with 'Sandy Claws' and little people parading around as 'elves' in a secret toy factory. Then there's the eccentric 'angel' who just dropped out of the sky, walked through walls, beamed-up 'somewhere' whenever he left Steph's sight. it gets a little boring in places, unlike her other Plum and Full House books, which were mostly fantastic, action-packed and believable reading. This is more of a children's fairy tale than a serious novel.
