Visions of Italy (DVD, 2005, 2-Disc Set)

I absolutely love these dvd's. I first saw them on PBS channel 21 in NY and was hooked. At that time the price was very high, about $150 dollars, which was your donation. I am soooo glad they are now affordable for anyone who loves beautiful places and wonderful narration!!! Lynn Smith

There is nothing to dislike about this video. I was so glad it was available on eBay rather to have paid the high price on public television. It was a great transaction. Many thanks again to the seller.

I like the DVD. It is good. Italy is nice. Traveling is nice. DVDs are nice.

We purchased two of these, one as a gift and one for ourselves, to keep our trip to Italy "alive" in our memories. We were told that it was excellent by someone who saw it on TV, and we agree. It is a beautifully captured depiction of the topography and culture of Italy. It could have been enhanced by spending more time in each major City, but I understand that there are other DVD's to cover the cities of Italy.

Filmed before 9-11 attacks there was more freedom to fly over historic and political sites. With less no fly zones the DVD is not slow and draging it gives you breath taking scenery great music and a good lesson on what is in italy from north to south.

My granddaughter recently returned from a 10 day trip to Italy and when I saw this tour on PBS I immediately went to Ebay and there it was. It was purchased from a family who had viewed it before they went on their trip so it was practically brand new.
Arrived quickly, and my granddaughter was thrilled with it. Brought back many good memories.

This video gives you views of Italy that I never realized existed. If you are fascinated by aerial shots like I am, this video in hi-def is just short of heaven. I can't say enough about how good it is.
