Violator, The CD that defined 1990's synth music.Review created: 11/23/08

This CD is without a doubt, the pinnacle of Depeche Mode's career. This album defined the sound of alternative synthesizer music in the 1990's. It is also the finest work of Depeche Mode. They have released several CDs since this one, but none of the more recent stuff comes remotely close to this one. Sad but true, they probably should have ended on a good note and called it quits after this one.

) The best album from a great, great band. The repackaging, the remastering, the documentary and extra tracks on the the DVD, are all fantastic.
