The way this author/collector has put this project together has really rekindled my personal love affair with drums and the way of manufacturing those great musical instruments of yesteryear. Their really is beauty in the way of capturing what was once a drum for performance and that has been preserved for all see. I very much appreciated the insight on where some of these drums were found and the attention to detail on model from year and era. I decided to buy the book because it had a wealth of information on a very specialized subject(collecting vintage snare drums circa 1920's-1940's), and quite frankly , THE PRICE WAS RIGHT. A must have for any Vintage Drum Collector. Thanks ebay for a Great find, and Mike Curotto, Excellent Book, Cheers.
