Vintage Feed Sacks
Do you collect vintage feed sacks? Love to learn history of our rural America, how the idea of material from feed sacks was developed and used? This is a "must-have" book in your collection.
The book vintage Feed Sacks: Fabric From the Farm by Susan Miller is an absolutely delightful book! It gives some nice and very interesting history of feed sacks, which I found enjoyable and informative. It is also filled to the brim with photo after photo of feed sack materials. As an avid quilter, lover of our older machines and sewing machine attachments, aprons, fabric (yes, the list goes on and on) - I am so glad I made this purchase. I will continue to use it as a reference as I build, and use!, my personal stash of feed sacks.
There are 160 pages of this book and each page is filled with photos. You can see the lovely feed sacks they came up with. Along with photos, there are many stories of country life.
Happy Stitching and collecting!
