Description
VIGILANTE 8: Second Offense for the PlayStation features all of the aspects that made the first game exciting, and adds a few new features to keep it interesting. The plot is simple: It's the 1970s, and you can play as either a good driver trying to get money from the bad guys, or you can play as a bad guy and try to steal money from wherever you can. There are also elements of time travel, which allow cars and weaponry from the future to show up. The premise is the same as the original, as you drive around in a 3D environment and complete mission objectives, all the while avoiding the enemy. Once you meet all your mission objectives you can move on to the next stage. There are numerous cars and levels to choose from, secret characters to find, and some two-player multiplayer options to help the replay value. For fans of the original VIGILANTE 8, this is a sure bet.

    This is the second game in the vigilante 8 series. I think i my opinion the 1st and 2nd are equal. They both have great gameplay and graphics. The only difference is the cars and levels. Which brings me to the next point that you can have the orginal V8 levels on 2nd offense simply by putting the V8 disc in your playstation while your in a game in V8:2 then you can enjoy the original levels while still playing Second offense. If you own V8 then you need to buy this one as well because it is worth it.
