Fantastic set, but don't call Viewsonic with questions.

I bought the N2750W for very specific reasons. I wanted an LCD TV that was as cheap as possible that would still be big enough to use as a computer monitor from about 8 feet away. I ordered one of the units that had a 1280x720 native resolution (more on this later), and I can safely say it does its job well. Really well, actually. Colors on this unit are fairly accurate right out of the box, and the detail I have on movies/videos (especially HD trailers) is incredible.
There is some slight ghosting on this TV, despite it being an 8ms set, but it's not really an issue. What is unfortunate is that DVD compression artifacts are significantly more noticeable now, but that's how it is with most large TVs, I'd assume.
Because I'm using it as an HTPC monitor, I can't comment on some things like the speakers (which are probably crap), or the connectivity (I only have use for the DVI input). It's a good looking TV, however, and feels pretty sturdy as well. The default picture everyone has shown of this TV doesn't do it justice at all; it's very sexy, and very black. The base is a metal stand, which surprised me. The only thing they could have improved was the power button, which is silver plastic instead of something nice like brushed aluminum.
A quick warning for anyone looking at this TV: Do your research. There are three different sets of specs for the N2750W. The oldest model has 1280x720 resolution, 600:1 contrast, 16ms response time. Another has 1280x720, 900:1, 8ms. The newest has 1366x768, 1000:1, 8ms. I'm fairly certain I have the second one, since it's the one I requested and the seller assured me that it was correct. I'd love to be able to double-check, but...
The reason I dropped the rating down a star is that Viewsonic's tech support people have no idea what they are doing. I have called at least 5 times to get the specs for my TV and have not gotten a consistent answer yet. Most of the time they give me the specs listed on their website, which are definitely wrong, but I've had people treat me like an idiot when I've told them that it isn't correct for my TV. A supervisor who emailed me to address my problem couldn't figure it out either. It's as if older models of this TV never existed. It's not that the people aren't tech-savvy (I've regrettably become used to that with electronics companies), it's that they are uneager and unwilling to help and to listen to your problem. Certainly never have them email you, as you'll be lucky to get a reply.
All-in-all, a terrific set, but I was really expecting more from Viewsonic support, being a reasonably well-known brand and all.
