Victorian Fashion in America by Kristina Harris (2002, Paperback, Illustrated)

I like the book and find it very interesting as I look at the pictures of a by-gone time. The pictures are very clear and show just how elegant the majority of the clothes were back then, even those that were considered middle class. You can definitely see the pride those people took in their appearance. I do wish, however; that there were more pictures of the men's styles and fashions in it than there is. This book is definitely more for women interested in that era.
