This was a dvd i simply had to have.Like millions of other American kids growing up in the sixties, watching the Ed Sullivan show was a ritual performed every sunday after dinner. Carol Burnette does a nice job of narration. If you're a sixties music fan you'll see some awesome Beatles footage including their first American appearance on the show, some wonderful Elvis Presley songs, not to mention The Doors doing LIGHT MY FIRE, of which they were supped to leave out he word "higher".Of course Jim Morrison was never one for letting anyone infringe on his artistic freeedom.Doors fans know the rest of this story.I could rave on about this one for a long time, but suffice it to say... if you wax nostalgic for Judy Garland,Elvis,Jackie Mason,Richard Pryor, rolling stones, The Supremes,Young Rascals etc, etc...give it a shot. It rocks!!
