This is the first comprehensive single disc of Deep Purple's music featuring highlights from throughout their career,but the main interest for me,the collector,is the well written liner notes.If you are a casual fan,then this is by far the best value for your money.

My husband loves Deep Purple they are the commination of the 70's rock genre'. Who can not help but sing to Smoke on the water? It was one of the first tunes I learned to play on the guitar. This CD true to it's name is the BEST. I bought it as a gift for my husband, but I find myself listening to it without him, it brings back memories of a less stressful time in my life.
