I like this movie some. Not a lot though. The thing that disturbs me is that it's called a comedy. This is in no way a comedy. The things in this movie are horrific.
This movie is called a black comedy but there is nothing funny about it. A black man is murdered in cold blood and blood is splatterd all over the bathroom where both the black man and a stripper are killed. Those two people are then decapitated and buried in the desert. What's funny about that? Nothing. The movie continues with other killings also.
Dennis Dermody didn't know what he was talking about when he called it "Savagely funny". It is Savagely but not funny.
This film would've been more enjoyable if it was called a suspense or Horror movie.

Was talking at work with friends about movie went to get movie out of cabinet gone must have loaned out gone.Got on e-bay had one fast.Loved movie loaned out again.

It is a well designed movie with an interesting story. Maybe a little gory in parts. Then again maybe it is supposed to be. Any way it keeps my attention. What was so weird was they keep it in the realm of "this could really happen."
I have run into a few people like the part that Cameron played. I could see this years from now on something like Mystery science theater 3000, with lines like "she got hung up" and "he was stuck for the drinks."
For real, this was a chance for the people like Christian Slater to be their selves. If you do not think this is a good movie, try "8 Heads in a Duffel Bag" with (Joe Pesci, Andy Comeau, Kristy Swanson, Dyan Cannon, and George Hamilton). Alternatively, maybe "Eating Raoul" directed by Paul Bartel.
