The Venetian Betrayal by Steve Berry (2007, Hardcover)

i love the combination of history and mystery. Author's portayal of other locales gives me a taste of land and culture that I am unable to visit. Also, I enjoy the twists and turns of Steve Berry novels. I've been fortunate to hear Steve Berry speak at Much Ado About Books in my hometown(Jacksonville, Fla)several times. I rate the Ebay seller as A++. My book arrived in great condition.

Steve Berry delivers again. The Venetian Betrayal is a terrific read. If you are headed to the beach or the mountains and want a great book to read be sure to pick up a copy of The Venetian Betrayal. It has a great plot, terrific character development, fast pace, and a thrilling ending.

Mixed with historical fact about the life and times of Alexander the Great. Some of it is true and some just wonderful fiction - Steve clears it up at the end - but don't read ahead.

The one intriguing question - was Alexander's draught actually a cure for AIDS?

You will have to read the book to find out!

I thoght his story line was a little weak compared to his other books. However, I enjoy reading his books and I guess you can't write best sellers every time. It is still a good book to read.

I know he is fast becoming a star writer,so I finally read one of his books.And he just is boring.Way to many charters.Story bounchs around to way to many places.Starts out with a fire that knows when to stop?And everyone is over in Europe or Asia?Na,move on and read something else...

I really like Steve Berry. His books get you on the first page and hold you. This book another in the line with Cotton. Great plot, doesn't lose you. He makes history seem alive. With a little writers Discrection.All of the characters are well thought out and you can follow it.

My addiction to hardcover books can be a financial drain. I enjoy purchasing books like this on ebay. They are used, but in excellent condition. And if I choose to sell the book, I can recoup some of my money and it's like renting books.

Another great Cotton Malone Thriller from Steve Berry. Highly recommended!
This is a great read tying history with thrilling current day situations.
