Velvet Promise by Jude Deveraux (1991, Paperback, Reissue)

If you love romance stories about castles, and knights in shining armor who have to work hard to win over a woman's love, then you will love this book. This book is the first book in a series. There are three other books after this. Once you start reading, you will not want to put this book down. I am just getting ready to read book number two in this series (highland velvet) and I am looking forward to it. Jude Deveraux is an awesome writer and I highly recommend reading all of her books. I love this book it is one of those that makes you get a lump in your throat, laugh at points and feel like your falling in love with the couple even as they fall in love with each other. It was great.

Like this author and was looking for the series by her. Enjoy reading her books and this series was hard to find. Did find it on e-bay.

I never received the book and tried to contact the seller twice but without a return email. I wanted this book as it is part of the velvet series. I was charged for it but couldn,t get a respose from seller.

I have loved this book since I was a teenager! This is the third copy I've purchased, the others having worn out. The first in the Montgomery saga, it is beautifully written with great descriptions!

I think the book was very good. I had read the rest of her books and I love the author. She is a very good author
