I decided to buy this because glam rock is back! look at American Idol second runner up. Lambert! I enjoyed the story line. Plus you have Christian Bale,
Jonathan Ryes-Myers and Ewan McGregor! What more can you ask for. Let's not
forget Toni Collette.

Love the clothes and music. Very entertaining. All by A-list actors.

This is a great movie with great costumes, music, and visuals. Actors are stellar!!! Great cameo by Eddie Izzard!

Cult classic. Glam Rock at it's HIGH and it's bottom barrel bare nakedness. The songs are destined to be on your favorite play list. The actors are committed to the decay and debauchery that is the VELVET GOLDMINE. BeWaRe this is not for the average viewer. If you are very happy with the humdrum, droll monotony of the usual flick, your heart will race at the sights you will see.
Dramatic to the flamboyant, musical and tons of make-up ON MEN!!! Gasp..... If finding out that one of your favorite actors, musicians political leaders or icons bats for the "other" team, don't bother to watch this terrific, divine and extraordinary movie.

this is a good movie, it has good story line and plot. it's really showing the world of glam rock and the acting is excellent but it has unique presentation of the people and it has alot of inappropriate scene so i suggested for people who interested in art movies to watch and not to all.

i loved this Movie. The Story line, Music, and images amazing. i have been looking for it where i live for a while and i couldn't find it anywhere. I decided to go to ebay! The movie came fast and in original seal. So happy to have it!

I love this movie because it is very open about gay rock stars and their start. the movie is more show than anything else. the plot is very weak but the movie is FUN. don't expect much and you won't be disappointed but just have fun.

I bought this item because it is one of my favorite movies. I love the music used in the movie, in fact I own the soundtrack as well. The three main actors are all great! And I love the slight relation to the days of David Bowie and Iggy Pop that this movie represents.

One of my top 20! A fantastical journey through the glam period of the 70's. The soundtrack rocks!
