VeggieTales - Larryboy & the Bad Apple (DVD, 2007)

My chidren loved this one so much, they watched it back to back.

Larryboy & the Bad Apple is a great story about defeating temptation.

I absolutely love this movie. Anything that Veggietales puts out there is good and did not expect this one to be any different. This movie has "wit" for all ages! It is easy enough for a young child to watch and captivating enough for the older child to watch as well. Even adults find themselves glued to the screen sometimes. I would definately reccomend this movie for any child, its great and it has a great storyline that teaches your kids about temptation. Its great. I give it two thumbs up!

Great theme for this Larryboy adventure. It's focus is Temptation, and how it can take over your life and not allow you to be what God wants you to be. However, to be honest--this particular adventure may be better suited for an older kids' viewing audience. Perhaps ages 7 or 8 and above. There is a sequence in the movie, that really scares my 4 yr.old. He is not scared easily, either. This sequence actually bothers me as well. I do not like it one bit, and have to turn the volume off during it. Just to let you know--the villian character chants something that sounds much like a witches spell or incantation-and although the words are not frightening (they are quite silly, actually)--the feel, tone, building and deliverance of the "chant" is frightening, or could be considered frightening to me (and my 4 yr.old, as well as other younger children).I think an older child would not see it as frightening, but for younger kids, who may not understand some of the words anyway--and not really understand what is going on and what the villian is doing--it may not be a good choice of a Veggie Tales Larryboy story for them.

We bought this movie to add to our collection of Veggie Tales and my addicted 2 1/2 year old LOVES it. It's all he's wanted to watch for the last 2 days. We are SO glad we bought this. It's very well written. It's funny, like all the others. And as always, it's got a good moral to the story. The only bad thing about it is that it's not longer!

This is my boys' favorite VeggieTales video. It is a good lesson about avoiding temptation and not over-indulging on favorites with some jokes to keep the adults laughing too.

This is a great video for kids and adults. It teaches kids how to deal with temptation. Personally my son loves it.

My daughter loves Larry Boy! So we needed to add to her collection and we enjoy watching it with her.

My 3 year old daughter loves VeggieTales and Larryboy is her favorite. These movies have great messages for kids and are fun to watch. I reccomend VeggieTales to every parent that I know.

We have enjoyed Veggie Tales since my now 10-year-old was a toddler. They have a great message and are catchy and fun. I would often find myself singing the songs from the videos. When this group of movies came along, I couldn't pass it up for my 3-year-old. He is enjoying it every bit as much as his big brother. Great message, great visuals and great songs. Fun for the whole family. I would highly recommend to anyone.

I purchased Larryboy and the Bad Apple at the request of my grandson. He collects VeggieTales and this is one he really wanted. VeggieTales have characters who have exciting adventures and alway offer a wholesome storyline ending with a christian moral. I am so thankful that I have the option to purchase DVD of this calibur for my little ones.

I bought it coz' it's my 19th months old grandson's favorite and teach good lesson and not violent.His parents also buying or collecting Vegie Tales dvd's. Since my grandson loves cartoon, then we want him to have good cartoon that will help him to grow to be a good person. Thats why me and his parents loves the Vegie Tales.

I love that it related to children real life issues. It lets them know how to handle temptation, God's way.

Veggie Tales at thier best. My daughter absolutly loves Larry Boy. I lost the firt copy on an airplane so this was a replacement. ROCK ON LARRY BOY!!!
