Vanishing Acts by Jodi Picoult (2005, Paperback, Reprint)

I have read other books by Jodi Picoult, so I was eager to read this novel.
It grabs you in the begining, and is fast beat, funny. A portrait of a family in crisis, a heartbreaking story that could happen to any family. Loved it's fast pace, it was hard to put down.

I bought this book after reading My Sisters Keeper and really enjoyed this read also. There were several twists that keep you reading and wanting to know the ending. I felt like the ending wasn't all neatly tied up fairy tale style, which just makes you think about how life isn't so neat all the time. I would recommend this book for a good summer read.

She did it again! I keep trying to find a Jodi Picoult book I only "halfway like," ~ I have yet to find it! This book was beautifully crafted. I think I will re-read it again and again...

I really loved this book. It captures you and won't let you put it down. The book makes you really think about what a parent is and the choices we have to make as parents. This book was worth the price I paid.

Love the book. Left it at work one day and was very aggrivated with myself for doing so. You will enjoy every page. It is an easy read that is exciting as well.

It was a great item and in decent condition, but the shipping was slow. I ordered it and it didn't get to my house for two weeks. Other than that it was great service and I thoroughly enjoyed the novel.

I liked the plot. It was one that is easily associated with life. I enjoy everything written by Jodi Picoult. Every one of her books are different.

Tells the story from points of view of different characters and lets the reader see different sides of a very complex issue.

one of my favorite by far by Jodi I say that when I finish each one. this one is a real thriller again with a unique ending. this is the story of a woman with a child who looks for missing people with her bloodhound about to get married and raised by her widow father. She has flashbacks of a live she never knew, then one day a knock on the door changes this secure life and sends the story into a total new direction like Picoult can do. WOnderful book right up their with 19 minutes I love that I can buy these on ebay I order them three at a time till I win the next auction, Book came to me in wonderful shape and so go Picoult fans and read this one you wont be sorry till you run out of her books and have to wait for a new one like Nicholas Sparks. I was taking a literature class at school and my professor told me to buy one of her books, he said she was the best new author to come through in many many years I now see why.

This book came on time and it was in brand new condition. There was not one bent page or any markings. I would definately order again from this seller.

This purchase experience was fine and I found the book to be okay. Overall, not a terrible experience but not the best.
