Description
A massively multiplayer online RPG powered by a heavily modified Unreal engine and produced by former team members of the Everquest franchise. Facing the challenges of a war-torn world, the diverse people here struggle to rebuild their once great civilizations. A fragile alliance has been struck, with the lands set upon by invading forces, the races must band together to survive. In the north, the sprawling green hills of Thestra are plagued by an unstoppable undead menace. To the south, the deserts of Qalia have been besieged by an elemental threat spawned from the depths of the earth and to the east; inhabitants of the tumultuous jungles of Kojan fiercely battle encroaching otherworldly fiends.

This limited edition includes: a CD featuring the full Vanguard: Saga of Heroes soundtrack,one of three Hero Cards each granting a unique in-game item, an art book featuring many original pieces by seminal fantasy artist, Keith Parkinson, a cloth map, and much more.

      I must start by saying that I love this game. MMO's are very addicting, and Vanguard is no exception to that rule. Yes, I will admit that Vanguard, was launched before it should have been, with to many servers, but at the same time, all of the problems that it has had since launch hasn't changed the fact that I love to play it.

      That being said, The fact that to many servers were launched has been corrected. At the end of last month, the servers merged to help the populations. Bugs are always being worked out, but the game is great. The graphics are exceptional, and if you are an MMO fan this game is for you.

      On the subject of the Collectors edition, which is what this review is for. I would not trade me collectors edition for the regular version. I like that it comes with the in game item, and also with the maps and other extras. I for one used the map quite a bit.

      So maybe they launched it a little too prematurely, but whats done is done. Vanguard: Saga of heroes is a great game for any MMO gamer.
