Vampire: Los Muertos Review

Vampire: Los Muertos features a cross-over entertainment artist mostly known for his music than his acting. Jon Bon Jovi stars as Derek Bliss, a vampire hunter who receives an assignment to hunt the "suckers" in the heart of Mexico. Joined by several other vampire slayers, this group encounters a new breed of vampires and it's up to Bliss and his crew to stop them from growing out of control.
Based on the sequel to John Carpenter's Vampires, this movie follows the theme of the original on a different plane. The graphics are average, no drastic special effects, but the plot itself is respectable.
Extremely good for the movie-goers who are more interested in the story behind the movie versus the fight scenes and special effects. Must watch the movie more than once to catch the subtle messages exposing the plot.
This movie may not be as popular as most current movies that widely use special effects, but demands the respect to be put up with all other vampire movies. Also is a plus for Bon Jovi fans and enthusiasts as he actually survives through the entire movie (and is in many more scenes).
I rate this movie an 8 on a 10 scale. Much more realistic than other vampire movies that are out there with the special effects. Brings the movie industry back down to earth.
