A fun movie. With a classic French ending. Daniel Auteuil is my favorite actor.
One of his better films. A good comedy film. His best film so far was The Lost Son (2001) a very serious and upsetting film no comedy.

Enjoyed this dvd very much. Very uplifting. I rented it first and decided to have my own copy. If you only read English, you must read the subtitles. It is like the dvd, Once. It is like getting to know people. Quite enjoyable.

This movie is really funny. It follows a french valet that is used to hide a rich businessman's affair. The only downside to this movie is that the language is french, but subtitles are available in english.

I bought The Valet about a month ago. It is in French with English subtitiles. I like French movies because I love France and try to practice my French whenever I can. The French in The Valet is excellent, not too slangy or too fast, just perfect. The plot of the movie is great, too. It is a comedy but has a few twists and turns that make it very engaging. I have watched it three times and it is definitely my favorite French movie. I really don't have anything negative to say about this charming movie except go ahead and buy it. You won't be sorry.

) This movie was an incredible buy. In the midst of so many "Hollywood Junk." It was nice to find a movie that was simple. Love story meets comedy meets France. This movie has English subtitles, but I think it does American audiences a great deal of good to look outside of our own culture at times. This movie proves that love is cross-cultural and that nothing is impossible when you believe. JUST BUY IT!
