This is the novelazation of the movie not the graphic novel. It is word for word scene for scene as the movie.

The question remains are we suffering enough?
When do you stand up and say, not my house, not my car, not my child, I am NOT a slave!
But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.--Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The government has become insurrect to the rights of the people. Tyrannis, in office declaring themselves above the law.
I suggest you pick up you're rights and become a "cowboy mentality" A well educated population is not a Subservience population.

V for Vendetta bookI had seen the movie and wanted to read the book. Backwards from the norm, I know. I think everyone should read this novel!! It is a chilling example of where we, as a nation, are heading. In my opinion this book is the new "1984" the only difference is Orwell was fortelling, and this book is d@amn near historical fact. In all, one of the best pieces of "fiction" I've ever read!!!
