Not content to merely front two highly successful heavy-rock bands, vocalist Maynard James Keenan (Tool, A Perfect Circle) decided to add another act to his considerable resume with Puscifer. An electro-tinged outlet for Keenan's id, the group, which features a rotating cast of musicians including drummer Tim Alexander (Primus, APC), offers up willfully crass tunes such as the rumbling, R&B-leaning "Queen B" and the ominous "Indigo Children" on its lewdly titled debut, V IS FOR VAGINA. The result is definitely not for young kids, but likely to entertain hardcore Tool/APC fans.

Editorial Reviews
Keenan's raspy, low-octave rap is backed with a melange of processed percussion, live drums, spooky harmonies and no melody to speak of beyond the oddly infectious cadence of his voice. It is, in a word, unexpected.
