Needed this for my intro statistics class. Very Helpful, a newer version would probably be helpful for people serious about using SPSS with more modern and up to date software.

Great BookThis book is very helpful to anyone who is using SPSS Applications and or is in a Statistics class. This Book allows SPSS to be fun and understandable.

Quick serviceIt's a good book but I've seen better manuals. I like the step-by-step instructions throughout most of this book, but at times the book assumes users have more pre-existing knowledge than one might expect. For example, some simple calculations require knowledge of typical excel commands. Besides this, illustrations match the program, and I was able to figure out most other instructions in a reasonable time.

The process of purchasing this book, and receiving it, went just great..
Thank You... let's please iron out the problems from the purchase of SPSS 13.0 that was NOT authorized by me, to go through.
When the seller emailed me to tell me my bid had been successful, I emailed him back to tell him I had not continued with the sale, when Pay Pak kept throwing objections one after the other.. I pulled out..! But Pay Pak and this seller forced the sale.. I am VERY upset about it..
There needs to be protections for clients when Pay Pak places one objection after the other.. and we pull out.. they can't go thru with the sale on their own later..!! I am VERY upset... please get my Master Card account credited for the purchase of this book.. When Pay Pak kept objecting.. I went to Amazon.com, where I had absolutely NO troubles purchasing this same book...
I don't think Pay Pal was involved in my 2 recent "successful" book purchases.. I hope I NEVER come across Pay Pal ever, ever, again..!!
