This is a very thorough encyclopedia of World History with great pictures. Not too much written information. We use this with Story of the World and it is great for visuals to go with that text.

) We love this new addition to our History curriculum. This colorful and educational book is fun to use and packed full of information. We are using this book as a complete history education for our home school. No need to buy expensive curriculum when one book provides several years of study.
The book is divided into sections: Prehistoric World, Ancient World, Medieval World, and the Last 500 Years. The Internet Links included provide hours of deep study for those topics that children want to delve into more. The layout is chronological with a time line at the bottom of each page to show "when" in time theses events and people took place, as well as maps to show "where" these events took place.
