Urban Legend (DVD, 1999, French Subtitled)

This was one of the movies that really got it right. They took an idea that wasn't exactly new, but made it fresh and interesting. It keeps you guessing through the wholfilm pretty much, as your list of suspects grows and shrinks. Always a new twist to throw you off. You'll find yourself saying time and again "Now that's just wrong" Happy watching!

What is an Urban Legend? Well if you don't know that, I'm sorry for your luck because you aren't going to get the over all concept of the movie. So let me explain it a little bit for you;

Urban Legend - an often lurid story or anecdote that is based on hearsay and widely circulated as true.

We've all heard the "Campfire" stories of the guy in the back seat and the chick/guy that gets his head cut off by him. Possibly the Guy who takes his date out and the car breaks down & he has to walk "down the road to get help" leaving the helps girl to car for herself, leading to strange scraping sounds on the roof of the car, which just so happens to be her DEAD boyfriend. The ever popular "Kidney Heist," in which so-&-so wakes up in a tub of ice missing their kidneys. Or how about the Pop Rocks and Cola Legend, where if you drink a Cola with Pop Rocks in your mouth it will burst your stomach? Just about all of which are in the movie.

A lot like "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Scream". If you like those movies you will probably love this one.

Take a legend that could or could not be true add some twists and turns and sit back and enjoy the ride..movie begins with a urban legend being told no one believes it until murders based on those same such legends begin coming true..find out the lead Characters dirty little secret once you do the fun begins to unfold..It was good seeing Robert (Freddy Krueger) Englund again..I loved the jaw dropping ending..can't wait to see the other Urban Legend movies!! 5 out of 5 bars on this one!!

I love a good scary not so gory movie and this one is it. Great movie came with the cover and all. Very good pricing with discounts offered for multiple purchases. Very customer oriented seller with great communication from start to end of auctions. many thanks

While this movie is still kind of your typical cheesy scary movies, I think it is one of the better ones. The plot is a good idea and I think thats what I like about it.

Really enjoyed it and was worth watching it. Acting was pretty good in this sequel. However it is rated R and so not suitable for kids. Kinda freaky if you haven't watched this yet and it's your first time. Beware! I'm telling you. Can give you nightmares..

I bought "Urban Legend" because I am a huge fan of Jared Leto, and I just love the story line. I saw this movie a few times and especially love watching it during Halloween time.
It's a great thriller, and suspenseful. What I dont like it the very end of the movie. I won't give it away.
This is a really good movie. One where you will NOT be bored. Continuous action and suspense.

Actually bought this for my son's collection. Have seen the movie but not really my cup of tea. My son loves this movie and has the sequal also.

I Got the 2nd one before the first but it was really good when i seen it and that is why i had to buy it

I liked the originality of the idea for the movie. It is not just another run around and kill people. The cast is young and fresh and aloty of them are known today. I highly recommed this movie to people.
