Upon the Midnight Clear by Sherrilyn Kenyon (2007, Paperback)

In a word, this book sucked. I was extremely disappointed. I love Sherrilyn Kenyon/Kenley MacGregor and have all of her books. I was so dissapointed in this book, I had to make myself finish it, and it took longer than usual because it put me to sleep! And I don't think that's the intent of the Dream-Hunter series! The story was more of a rant, or a tirade, than a story. In some places, it didn't even sound like Kenyon's work. I want to know how this made it into print--was her editor asleep or what? Not only was the story bad, but the enlarged print made me feel like I was cheated, like a bad short story was fluffed up and made into the next book of the series. In my opinion, I would have rather waited a while longer for the next book rather than having been fed this crap.

She is a great writer and holds my atention. The package arrived well packaged and in a suitable time. I enjoy a change of reading and she provides it with her different types of people.

When you think Sherrilyn Kenyon cannot come up with anything else to surprise you...she just does. After so many books in the Dark/Dream/Were-Hunter series, this is another proof of this Author's infinite creativity and high quality writing skills.

If you don't know the series yet and you like fanatasy, romance, suspance and (a lot of) sarcasm, these books are for you. :)

Sherrilyn is 1 of my 3 favorite authors! This book was wonderful as are all her books! Can't wait for the next one!

This book is great. I loved everything about it. Betrayal is something every one can idenify with,but trust is earned.

Kenyon's Dark-Hunter and Dream-Hunter series are light reading but, your mind becomes entangled with the characters in these saga's and you are there with them. They actually come alive if your imagination know's no boundaries. The originallity of the works is addicting, so I have collected all of the series.
My childhood was seeded with Frankenstein (original, the Werewolf, Dracula, Kenyon's guys are nicer but no less potent.

I bought this book because I love Sherrilyn Kenyon. Like most of her books the action is fast paced but I thought it was as engaging and interesting as all of the others. This one is about the Dream Hunters, so the focus is more on dreams and the subconscious. I personally had a hard time following along at first because I'm so used to the Dark Hunters and their night activities, but I really got into it and I'll be rereading it again really soon.
