I live by the same credo as my 80 year old father, "Anything someone else can do a lot of I can at least learn to do a little." This book is the tool that allows me to do things I never thought I would attempt, like replacing a hard drive and adding more memory. It walks the reader through computer repairs and upgrades in plain, simple and often humorous English...no technobabble to baffle us non-geeks. I love this book and it will never go farther than my bookshelf during my lifetime.
