Movie Description
This outrageous British comedy from the swinging seventies follows the misadventures (libidinous and otherwise) of Senator Ludicrus Sextus, his family--wife Ammonia, daughter Erotica, son Nausius--and their slave Lurcio (the brains of the bunch). Set against the last days of Pompeii (decimated by the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius 79 AD) this naughty program (which ran for two seasons) delivers a tunic full of sexual farce, bath house humor and slapstick comedy. Episodes include: "Vestal Virgins," "The Love Potion," "James Bondus," "The Legacy," "Roman Holiday," and "Exodus." See individual titles for further description.
