The Untouchables - Season 3 Volume 1 (DVD, 2009, Canadian DVD's)

Season 3 of the original "Untouchables" is now out on DVD. The transfer from film looks pretty good. The writers of the series had to keep it interesting; they rang new changes on Robert Stack's Eliot Ness character, showing him intoxicated in the first episode, "The Troubleshooter", with Peter Falk as a vicious hood. Old nemesis Frank Nitti shows up, now involved in narcotics after liquor was again legalized ("Tunnel Of Horrors"). The episodes bear little resemblance to historical fact, but they certainly keep you watching.
