A Good anthology for anyone who liked the original individual games. Here they are all on one DVD at a great price.

Well, first I have to say that the seller is great. Second, about the Unreal Tournament: the game is the first stress reducer game I played 3 years ago :)) Well, That's great to play Unreal with my husband :) The graphics are cool, and the DVD includes 4 Unreal Tournament games and it's 82% price off, that's a bargain ! And I absolutely LOVE IT :)

Nice bundle collection, but has some flaws. It works best when installed on WinXP or 2000. UT2004 is the only game in the pack that can be played successfully on a 64bit Vista Computer. I installed the entire bundle on my 64 bit Visa PC and the only game that works great is the UT2004. The rest of the games in this pack have glitches on the 64 bit system and totally unplayable. I have this game pack installed on XP and all work perfectly. The one benefit of this game pack is that you can individually install UT2004, it has all of the latest patches and updates so you can play online. I did buy the UT2004 separately and it doesn't have all of the updates necessary to play online and it is a pain trying to get it updated. I called midway and users can get updates at www.filefront.com if you have 2004 separately. Bottom Line is that this Unreal Anthology game is excellent on XP and bad on 64bit systems unless you install UT2004 individually with all recent updates and patches. (Oh, by the way, Unreal Tournament 2 is like playing Halo, now I know where Halo came from.)

If you like any FPS or sci-fi buy this game you won't regret it! Even if it's just to get the original Unreal, it's still cheap and you get some bonus games thrown in. This game is an old favorite of mine, many features found in the engine were milestones that are still used today. Primary/Secondary functions for every weapon, brutal AI (the enemies almost seem to stalk you), cutting edge graphics for that time; all in all it's a very atmospheric game that will pull you in. Yeah the story line is typical, you're an prisoner on a prisoner ship that crash lands onto an alien planet... Pitch Black anyone? I'll have to research and see which came first haha. It's a very good shooter, scary for sure but that's about all it has in common with Doom and similar games. You don't fight hordes of enemies every other room you walk into, it's more well places encounters with tension buliding between. The music (or lack of at times) does an incredible job of conveying fear of what lies ahead. The transitions between levels are very smooth, gives you the impression that you are actually on a planet not just battling through a series of stages. In my opinion, the original Unreal was ahead of it's time and a finely crafted space journey. You also get Unreal 2 which I have never played, but look forward to!

This is one of the best FPS games I've every played. The sheer energy of it is unmatched by any other game. Deathmatch mode is the hallmark of this series and it does it better than any other software. The awesomely powerful and cool weapons are the other hallmark of the game. Rocket Launchers, multi-barrelled Miniguns, and my absolute favorite...THE FLACK CANNON (a devestating shotgun on steroids!). The later versions of the game add some awesome weapons (like the lightning rifle, the ion painter), vehicles (fighters, choppers & LEVIATHON!!), abilities (double jumping, regeneration) and features.
The team play is sweet both online and single player. The gameplay is benefited by stellar AI for the bots both on your team and against.
I love this game to play by myself, with friends, or with complete strangers!

If you're a fan of First Person Shooter titles, odds are you've played an Unreal game at one point or another. Well this Anthology is a massive collection of some of the greatest First Person Shooters ever made. Unreal, Unreal: Return to Na Pali, Unreal 2, Unreal Tournament GOTY edition, and Unreal Tournament 2004. Bundled with a bonus CD "A history of Unreal Music" containing some of the most memorable tracks ever heard in an FPS title. The early Unreal titles are solid enough that I've spent more time since I bought this and Unreal Tournament III on Unreal Tournament 2004. The gameplay was just so close to perfect and remains so to this day.

J'ai surtout joué au UT2K4 qui présente plusieurs modes directement accessibles avec "Action immediate" (10 choix) qui vous permet de vous améliorer pour un "solo".
Les armes et outils d'origines sont bien diversifiés dans leur usage sans pour autant être en grand nombre (17 au total).
Les paramètres présentent un large choix dans leurs modifications ; controle du clavier, difficulté de 8 niveaux, informations (HUD), degré de gore (3 niveaux) , réponse de la souris, les temps, armes & actions autorisées (jet d'armes , provocations etc).



Les mutators d'Unreal Tournament 2004 ,("variantes" en français),sont au nombre de 17. Les modifications qu'ils apportent peuvent être bien appréciables; du fun avec "Grosse tête" , plus de diversité avec "Statistique de race" qui prend en compte les capacités de chaque race (ex: Skaarj, homo sapiens, humain, robot, Gen Mo'Kai.) Le mutator "Vampire" vous permet de récuperer des forces en tuant les autres. Vous pouvez aussi modifer la vitesse du jeu , voir la mort de vos adversaires au ralentie ou peut-être même ceux de votre équipe (trés utile! XE) et j'en passe.
Il est aussi agréable de pouvoir choisir le nombre et les personnes qui composeront votre équipe ainsi que de celle de vos opposants. 15 contre 2, ça vous chante?

Gouts et couleurs; les musiques accompagnent bien ce style de jeu, certaines d'entre elles sont excellentes.
A titre d'info, les fans préfèrent celles d'UT à celles d'UT2K4.
Vous pouvez écouter la ou les musique(s) que vous souhaitez , le lecteur du jeu (f11 par defaut) vous donne la possibilité de lire le répertoire de musique comme il vous plait (.ogg pour UT2K4, .umx pour UTGold)

Les UT sont avant tout jouable online (pas une obligation) et sur l'internet vous trouverez d'autres mutators, de skins (ex: Cloud Strife, Robocop, Optimus Prime XE), de maps, d'armes (certaines sont bien étranges >.>) etc!

Soit dit en passant, il s'agit de mon premier jeu de ce genre il m'est donc pas possible de le comparer avec d'autres. En tout cas je ne regrette pas de l'avoir acheté (et les Gen Mo'Kai sont mignons! lol).

One of the best package of games for first person shooters. It allows the player to play at their own pace. A nice touch is that the instillation disk doesn’t have to be in the CD rom to play the games. I loved the Bonus chars on the game Barktooth and all them I like u can use them in online and offline and on single player..

Finding older games is getting harder, but the Unreal anthology is fantastic, all the unreal games up to Unreal; Tournament 2004 are included with all updated patches. Great fragging fun

UNREAL 2004 is the most fun I have had on this Anthology. The other three were quit slow and boring. Can't wait for the new one to come out. It has been long enough.
