This Guide is loaded with all types of indispensible tips that help you save time & money. This book covers all of the major theme parks & is complete with: Maps, Names,Addresses & Phone Numbers of Hotels, Resorts & more. Websites information so you may get advance info on jsut about everything at Disney.
Traveling with Children of all ages from Infants to Teens is covered along with tips & advice for: Inviting Childrens' Friends, Single Parents & Grandparents.
Very helpful tips on how to avoid long lines, making reservations for Character Meals, Understanding the FastPass System, ranks & ratings of Attractions & Hotels. Also information on ChildCare Services (for adults who would like to spend some time together at an adults only venue. Let's face it, parents also need some special alone time together for a memorable vacation.)
This guide also covers every possible situation to the most dreaded "What if a child is lost" to things that are an absolute must to take to the theme parks.
This guide is also very helpful in providing driving times to theme parks from various locations. Yes, there are the options of taking a bus or hotel shuttle. We chose to rent a car & that was a very wise decision. We discovered that getting to buses to go to the various theme parks may require taxi service to the bus stops. The free hotel shuttles also have set times & if you miss your departure time from the hotel to the chosen theme park, there may not be a second opportunity. Also, the free hotel shuttle has set times when you are picked up from the theme park & taken back to your hotel. Which means that you will have to miss out on fireworks in the evening, shows, etc. Renting a vehicle gives you the freedom to come & go as you please.
Souvenirs are very costly at the theme parks. Decide before your trip how much money you are willing to spend on souvenirs & whether or not you will purchase them at each theme park you attend. Up and down the highways, you will discover a multitude of places that are selling Disney souvenirs - usually much more reasonable than the theme parks & also many items that you will not find at any of the theme parks. If you are planning to bring back gifts for birthdays, holidays and/or special occasions, check out the various places up and down the highway. You will find some good deals among the items that can be found at any other shop or mall in your hometown.
We bought this guide several months before our trip & took it along with us on our trip as well. It was invaluable! And you'll be surprised at any given number of vacationing families that may spot you with this guide & ask where they may purchase one for themselves!
