Unlocking the Mystery of Life (DVD, 2004)

Absolutely fantastic film. Explanation of microscopic life and the complexity of the "machines" that keep us all going. I buy copies to give as gifts.

This was recommended by a friend whose opinion I value. I particularly liked the sources and interviews. Often on a subject like this religious people come out of the woodwork with their slants and spins. This was just a series of short interviews and statements from scientists stating their conclusions and why they arrived at them. The animation and technical production was very professional. Having worked in the media I truly appreciated the skill that went into this production.
I plan to send copies to a few relatives and friends.

This dvd is one of the most convincing out there when it comes to lifes origins. I was especially impressed with
Dean Kenyon (One of the authors of a chemical evolution textbook) is one of those interviewed in this film and no longer can agree with his own conclusions. He has now been convinced because of these incredible complexed evidences that chemical evolution cannot be true and that there has to be a creator behind lifes origins . This from a man who has a real understanding in the fields of the biological and chemical sciences. This film is a real faith builder for those who already believe in a creator and brings to light many good points for those who are agnostic in their thoughts about lifes origins. I purchased two copies of this dvd because I lost my previous copy. I may even purchase more copies to give away. Great grapics and very professional cinema, I love the music and sound as well.

This is am informative lecture on te creation of life that I highly reccomend for anyone seeking to sort out the truth.

Shows the other side of the issue (intellegent design) that is often rejected because of scientific prejudice.

This is an incredibly well-produced documentary on a fascinating topic. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to examine some of the reasons why intelligent design advocates believe the way they do.

I own many hundreds of educational and documentary videos, as well as a vast regular library. This video is one of the most valuable, inspiring and uplifting pieces of information that I now possess. The inescapable conclusions inferred, based upon modern scientific observations and facts, are uplifting and wondrous.
I believe if Charles Darwin were alive today and armed with modern facts, he would reconsider his theory and quite possibly rename his book to, “The Adaptability of the Species”. I believe he would acknowledge the impossibility of DNA structures and the micro-machines that are within all living things on our planet, “accidentally” coming into existence, even in a universe as large and as old as our own. I believe there is no better example for the meaning of the word “impossible”, based upon statistical analysis, than the claim that life as we know it came about without a Designer.
The realization that “information” is a key and vital component of our universe, in addition to matter and energy, is a pivotal and very important paradigm shift in our perceptions and understanding of things. Actually, according to the newest String Theory, all matter is a form of super concentrated energy that is made of incredibly tiny packets of energy, whose various forms of vibrations define the characteristics of all matter and energy we perceive. This theory also supports the existence of multiple physical dimensions in which matter can simultaneously exist. Leading edge science is becoming more and more supportive of some religious and/or mystical views and beliefs.
I believe that genuine science and genuine religion are complimentary, not confrontational. If conflicts exist, then either a scientific or a religious view, or both, are in error.
“Information” is presented through various language forms. ALL languages come from a mind (Large or small). No exceptions to this simple statement exist that I know of. The realization that DNA IS a language is an awesome epiphany with potentially world changing implications.
I have come to believe that the Trinity concept is plausible, and that God “the Father” IS “information” (amongst other things) that exists in a Being that is not constrained by the limits of space and time that we are bound by.
It is time to realize that the current emphasis on Darwinism evolution as an explanation of the origin of life is politically motivated, and is not based upon science or sound reasoning. “Evolution” via natural selection (or the manipulations of men) does occur within a pre-existing species as a designed in mechanism of adaptability to increase the probability of the survival of any particular species. This plausible conclusion only adds to the incredible skill and knowledge of the Designer of DNA.

The existence of an awesome Designer is becoming more and more inescapable as new scientific discoveries are made and considered in an open-minded manner. It is empowering and uplifting to experience and understand that faith and science can go hand in hand, pointing to a Creator who is worthy of admiration and respect that is beyond measure.
This is how I see things. This video is supportive of my convictions.

This documentary asks the viewer to question what they were taught about macro evolution and offers strong scientific evidence that supports intelligent design.

I have just one question: Who is behind the agenda to continue perpetuating the lie of macro evolution in this era of scientific enlightenment while at the same time trying to destroy the evidence of intellegent design? Probably the more important question is why?

We watched this DVD with no agenda. It took us down to the level of IRREDUCIBLE COMPLEXITY at the cellular level - proving a Designer.

What an excellenc dvd. The graphics are incredible. The explanations easily understandable. Wish I'd seen this when i was still in school.
