A gem from the early 1990s!!!

I was looking for some laserdiscs to purchase of movies I may have missed previously yet wanted to add to my optical video disc collection. This was a title which was on my list. However, when I found out that this very title of Unlawful Entry was available as part of FOX's Enhanced Widescreen DVD's featuring Dolby Digital AND DTS Sountracks plus anamorphic widescreen presentation (as some early FOX DVD titles did not), I jumped at the chance.
The seller was kind enough to send this to me quickly as I received the DVD within a few short days after paying for it. I finally watched the DVD the night after receiving a brand-new SDTV in my home.
The picture was very expansive, rather clean for its time and rather detailed. One paritcular tell was the police patrol light shinning into the bedroom where the two co-starts were sleeping in. It looked so very real that I had no idea that it was that dark at night when the light was flashed from the street upstairs into their home. That is a tell on the attention FOX gave to the video playback.
I selected the DTS audio option on playback was very satisfied. Ambience was solid in the surround channels, the front-end channels were lively, the dialogue spot-on, with the LFE registering on an as-needed suspenseful basis.
And the movie was, indeed, a suspenseful thriller--one I am sorry I missed the first time around back in the early 1990s. But I am so very glad to have not only found this fine movie on DVD, but also equally happy to have it in my movie collection as well!!!!!
I am looking forward to viewing it again already!!!! :D
