Universal Soldier was great back in the day, and is still pretty decent now. I will never understand how you can shoot at somebody for 15 minutes and not hit them, but that's the great thing about action films, they don't have to make sense.
Universal Soldier is High-Octane Violence and Explosions from the get go, with a great fight scene to finish it off.
Final Verdict:
3/5
Rent or Buy?: If you haven't seen it, it's worth renting at least once. If you love action films or Van Damme, save yourself some money and buy it. It's one of Van Dammes best films.
