Mustane is back! This album is chocked full of good hooks with excellent riffs to back it up. Dave Mustane has moved past the Metallica curse and now rules the metal scene!

Megadeth continues to evolve and produce excellent material the defines them as one of THE few interesting metal bands around anymore. The songs are heavy, have a great groove, and address many of todays current topics. Dave Mustaine reveals his excellent writing skills once again and I feel any Megadeth fan will enjoy his newest offering.

Fans of 80s thrash metal will be quite pleased with Megadeth's latest album, United Abominations. True, it's not my all-time favorite Megadeth CD, but the majority of the songs do hark back to the golden age of heavy metal, with awesome riffs, killer solos (including many by Glen Drover of Eidolon) and Mustaine's signature vocal style. Whether or not you agree with Mustaine's political views (if you can even figure them out...), I would recommend the CD to metal fans anywhere, especially those hoping for a revival of classic-style metal as we pass into the next decade.

Good if not GreatThis CD is a lot like the prior The System is Failing, but maybe not quite as good. At least Mustaine has something real to say - and he totally shreds on guitar. Not their best but definitely far from their worst. Too bad Chris Poland left. Also, the artwork was sub par for a Mega-deth release - looks like an 8th grader drew it.
