Uniden WXI477 5.8 GHz 1-Line Cordless Phone

These are really rugged phones. Waterproof, and can withstand being dropped. I like this phone. Should have bought more.

The feature I was looking for in a cordless phone was an illuminated keypad. Most do not have it. This one does. A lot of the other features are rather common among phones of this caliber. Having the Uniden quality version of these features is what makes this phone stand above the crowd. We have owned this one for about a month and are totally satisfied.

I love our waterproof phone - we use it when we're in the hot tub. The only thing I would improve is the volume of both the ringer and the earpiece.

I like the feel and heft of this phone. Men will like it more than women for sure. Sound quality is quite good and that is what I was looking for as well as a phone that I can take outdoors with no worries. There is one caveat though: If you buy a Uniden phone from an Ebay dealer, Uniden will not honor any warranty, as per my conversation with customer service.

I have plenty of fun with this phone. It work's great and is very durable. I can drop it,get it wet without worrying about it. Only thing I think it needs a new battery.

We bought this for my wife's sister's birthday. They have a new inground pool and we also have one for ourselves for our pool.

I wanted a cordless phone that was waterproof, that I could use around my hot tub. It floats , goes underwater and comes up working crystal clear every time. I love it!

good phone. I like the part that it has inductive charging. I may look for another one to match this one in the future.

What an attractive phone. Has caller ID, water proof,all the bells and whistles we need on a phone. I placed mine in the garage for the grandkids to use when they are outside.

I had one of these Uniden floating phones for about 4 or 5 years and then something went wrong with the ringer so I needed to replace my floating phone and decided to go with the same one again. I love my floating phone around the pool because I don't have to worry about getting it wet when talking to someone in the pool or if someone drops the phone in the pool the phone still works perfectly. The phone is easy to use and nice features on it. Wouldn't want to be without my floating phone during pool season.

Phone works as advertized in wet conditions. Has good range from base station. I hate to admit it but do to my work, I have a need to answer my phone even in the shower. Ruined more then a few Cell and reqular phones. Not to mention the water on the floor to get to a phone before and the slips and falls.

I like this phone because it has a lot of useful features, like caller I.D., voicemail indicater, lighted keypad, expandibilty, and speakerphone, all on a cordless unit. I have mostly Uniden phones all over my house and I am very satisfied with their products. I got a good price on this product. These units cost much more in the stores.

It is definitely waterproof and is great for use in and around my pool. It is compatible with a couple other uniden handsets so it is not necessary to buy several waterproof units, which is a good thing because the waterproof units can be a bit pricey.
On the down side, this is my second purchase of one of these due to the first one malfunctioning (caller ID would not work) and the waterproofing rubber peeling away after only a year and a half of normal use. Hopefully I will have better luck this time around.

The Only thing I do not like about this product, is that it's not headset compatible. Everything else is great!

The phones I purchased were new, as described, and factory packaged. The seller sent them out immediately and I received them within several days. It's a pleasure to do business with such an honorable person. I had wanted this model phone and it was no longer being manufactured. Thanks to this seller, I was able to purchase two of the phones I wanted at about half of their retail cost.

I love the fact that it stands up to water, dirt and drops. I work around equipment and in dirty conditions, so its nice to know my phone can handle it!!

I LOVE THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT. The fact that I can have more good quality phones in my rather large house is great. I really love the fact that this phone is water resistant. I can bring the phone out by the pool and not worry about it falling into the water.
