Uniden TRU9480 5.8 GHz Twin 1-Line Cordless Phone

I only replaced my old phone b/c I could not see the key pad numbers in dim or dark rooms. Very frustrating, so I bought this phone b/c the key pad lights up and got so much more. Lots of features on the phone I do not use but I plan to.

I purchased this used phone set about two months now, I have not used all of it's features and don't plan to use them. I like that it came with 3 handsets, call screening, answer machine, caller ID and can store up to 100 caller ID numbers if I don't use the phonebook feature. The speakerphone works well and I can hear very clearly when conversing with others. I would recommend my friends and family to purchase this phone.

its a great phone with alot of neat feature i love it but, the base seem to ring even when the phone is not in place. which causes me to go to the bse to answer the phone. where it should be but someone has moved it. the set up it is much different thn my panasonic phone which i used for ever. and still do. i like how the keys light up and the display is bright enought to see who is call in the middle of the night. things that i dont like about the phone are to may button needed to press to add contact to phone list or delete a caller id compared to my panasonic. but other than there great i can go farther away from the bases with these vs my pans. and the dont interfer with each other as i use the pans at home with my work number. the ringers are loud which is a good thing for me i miss place thing and have young children who move them around. so being able to page them and find them in my home is great and the page feat is great i can page someone up stairs instead of going up stairs to say something ect ... great buy

I love the phone, I have had this type of phone for many years, the middle button does wear out, as it did on my 3 older phones.

Other than that, the quality of the voice, the outstanding features, such as room monitor and walkie talkie functions are very handy when you have children.

The phone will not interfere with my Router and Internet.

One handset did not work, I am confident the seller will exchange it for me. This was a reconditioned phone, so you should expect these things to happen once in a while.

I'm going to give this phone an "Excellent" because that's what it is, quality and price

I have owned a set of these for about 4 yrs or longer. I have yet to replace the factory battery, and they have really lived up to uniden name. I needed another set for another house so I purchased these used knowing their great phones! Love them, cant say more about them except I hope uniden brings this style back!!

This uniden as well as the TRU 9460 are the best 1 line cordless phones around. I have tried Panasonic, vteck, Sony & others.
