Uniden DXI5586-2 5.8 GHz Twin 1-Line Cordless Phone

Great pair of phones, one with the base station, one without. They provide an easy way to add an extension without running wiring, if you lack phone jacks in your house or the particular room you'd like a phone in. The features are plentiful; memory speed dial with 30 numbers, caller ID, redial, volume control, message notification, all on a nice digital display on the front of the phone. The sound quality at 5.8 GHz is great and so is the range. I have no trouble going outside and using the phones.

The set isn't expandable, so that would be the only drawback. Of course, two sets would give you 4 phones and at the price, 4 phones is definitely an option. I use two sets with Vonage VOIP and they work like a charm. I'd recommend them without hesitation.
