Great pair of phones, one with the base station, one without. They provide an easy way to add an extension without running wiring, if you lack phone jacks in your house or the particular room you'd like a phone in. The features are plentiful; memory speed dial with 30 numbers, caller ID, redial, volume control, message notification, all on a nice digital display on the front of the phone. The sound quality at 5.8 GHz is great and so is the range. I have no trouble going outside and using the phones.
The set isn't expandable, so that would be the only drawback. Of course, two sets would give you 4 phones and at the price, 4 phones is definitely an option. I use two sets with Vonage VOIP and they work like a charm. I'd recommend them without hesitation.

These phones were great, but called id isn't compatible with Time Warner Cable Digital Phone. I gave them to a family member who was already using these phones, so she could expand her system.

Like that it has two hand sets, one of which does not require a phone jack. Dislike that there is delays in connection and frequently has static or poor sound. Seemed to be a good value.

Had a set just like it. the base charger went out. Paid less than 1/2 the store price and now I have a 3 phone system.

As far as I'm concerned, this is a great product. I bought this for my wife and I so we didn't have to run from here and there to answer the phone, and it has certainly been very dependable and worked fine. I was a little sceptical of buying a "re-furbished" unit but it works and looks as good as a new one. I paid almost $25.00 for it on eBay and they are $49.95 at Lowes. We're totally satisfied. There is a lot of line crackling at certain places in the house and I can not walk real far outside of my house like I did with previous phones.
It's a little bigger than I like and there is no speaker button but other than that it works good.
I had other uniden phones and they lasted forever so I hope this one does too.

Home base and satelite unitUnit fills my need by providing a phone in a satelite area without a phone jack. The reception is very good even with the home base upstairs in my home (other cordless phones lose clarity at distances). The phone provides caller id and other fine features...more than I need. For the price the product is excellent.
