Uniden DCT646-2 2.4 GHz Twin 1-Line Cordless Phone

We use it in conjunction with another Uniden phone with no interference between the two phones. The speaker phones built into the handsets works beautifully. Battery life is very good and talk range is about 150 ft. We use them everyday in our home/home office.

I have over a dozen of these units. No buzz on my lines at all. The other reviewer probably has an issue with his indoor wiring. That's the most likely culprit for a 'buzz'.

Love this phone! Compact, great features. Good battery life, the range is great on this model. I have tried other Uniden phones and this one is by far the best model.

Great way to add on phones to rooms that do not have previously installed phone jacks or phone jacks in wrong places. Reception is excellant throughout household area with some outside area also. I also enjoyed the walkie-talkie feature to communicate with others in the house while in garage or shed. And finally installation so easy "even a caveman can do it".

There is a buzz in these phones. It has nothing to do with the people that I purchased them from, but Uniden. Tried to use clarifier but does not work. Moved phone and it still has interference.

Received the phones with bad batteries. Seller promptly refunded an agreed upon amount. Prompt shipping. All in all a good experience

Small reliable cordless phones that can take a beating and keep on working! These phones have been left in the rain and lost for weeks but after drying out and recharging just keep going! I have had many other phones over the years and none have had the life span and reliability of thes little UNIDENS...

I previously owned 4 of these phones, 2 were worn out, one still working was literally held together with duct tape. But being a grandfather, raising my grandchildren, new phones were not a priority. I saw these phones on ebay for $25.00 and after great communication and truthfulness from the seller, found that they were just what I wanted. I would have been happy if only 2 of the phones worked, but all 4 were just as the seller said they would be. This is a great product. I would not consider using any other type of phone. As for the grandchildren, you would think it was Christmas in February. Out of all the phones Uniden has, I highly recommend this phone, especially for large families and especially the privacy mode. These phones will be used 24/7, it's just something that kids do. These phones are very durable and I would not trade them. As I have heard, it has been said, a rich man's trash is a poor man's treasure. Thank God for these phones. It gives me and the wife time to be together while they are being used. The phone and the satelitle phones work great, but they tend to last for a year or so only, then you ned to replace them. I hav ehad to repalce 2 of my 3 satelitle phones after 1.5 years.

I had DCT646-2 from SunRocket. They work great. I have two prone lines. So I bought DCT648-3 from e-bay. They work great. So far no problem.
