This phone is very clear. Battery life in the handsets is longer than expected.
Range is quite adequate. I can go to the mailbox across the street and will not fade out. I have two Uniden stations and eight handsets. They are all over four years old and continue to function like the first day. Phones have Caller Id, handset to handset operation, and voicemail on the base.
In summary, my biggest advantage is the overall clarity for both the caller and "callee". I have a GE base with one handset and that unit is just junk. Poor clarity, batteries die quickly and it is hard to read and navigate the menus.
