This is an excellent radio for continual use on cross country driving. It has great output and is tuneable for better modulation and power. Mic gain and rf gain control knobs for fine tuning. SWR meter built into unit also for antenna matching.

I like the way it recieves and talks plus the weather channels help me alot on the job to keep up with weather conditions.
All in all it's a excellent radio that would buy again.
