Unfaithful (DVD, 2009, Widescreen; Spa Cash)

What I love about the movie "Unfaithful" is the showing of the "Consecquences" of a married woman who meets a young guy and doesn't resist the temptation of having an affair with him. All the while negecting her husband and child. The husband at first is "In Denial" that his wife is doing anything wrong when he starts noticing his wife is not acting her usual self. The movie show the viewer both the "LURE" or mere "FANTASIZING" about being "UNFAITHFUL' to a spouse and the UGLY and HORRIBLE "CONCEQUENCES" of the aftermath of actually going the next step to REALITY of cheating while still acting like they're still "COMMITED" to their spouse. I bought the movie to help better understand why I was cheated on by my wife that I too "Thought" was "In Love" with me as I was with her. Things don't always go the way we would like them to. That is REALITY.

This was an excellent movie! Richard Gere once again plays up another part to the T. This movie is not only a chick flick but it has something for the men too! I have watched this a couple of times now. Passion, seduction & consequences! A great seductive thriller!

Love this movie!! The only part i didn't like was the part where he conks the guy on the head. Other than that awsome movie with awsome actors!

FOR WOMEN, A TOTAL ESCAPE INTO SEDUCTION, PASSION. OLIVER MARTINEZ WAS AWSOME. PLOT, WELL A LITTLE WEAK AND ENDING UNSATISFACTORY.

Diane Lane turns heads and drops mouths as the cliche breaking, unfaithful wife. While Gere and Martinez offer good support, the story focuses primarily on Lane's extra-marital affair, and the deep, emotional and physical rending of her marriage and family life. Hands down Lane's most solid role to date.

I came home from a getaway weekend and there it was. Couldn't believe this took place over the weekend. Looking forward to working with this seller again.

Every time I have seen this movie show up on TV networks, I wind up watching it - even though I know exactly how it all is going to turn out. Diane Lane is masterful in using her facial expressions to say much without uttering a single word. The intensity of her wreckless passion contrasts her sincere love of her husband (Richard Gere) who has done nothing to deserve the betrayal of his wife. Yet, when they both get sucked into an inescapable plot, they go about trying to repair the emotional damage and rebuilding their lives. The final scene is open-ended leaving the viewer to speculate on the eventual outcome: will justice be served, or do we root for them to escape their crime and rebuild their mutual trust?

I had never seen this movie before but I am glad that I bouht it. I will watch this movies more than once and it's a great addition to my collection.

This film delivers believable visual passion between our two lead actors. Well worth viewing. Unexpected consequences unfold with this love triangle.

I liked the movie and wanted a copy of my own. I am happy with my purchase! This is a movie that I plan on watching when my kids are asleep. My time is limited and I want to watch movies on my own time and not by watching them on cable. This is a passionate movie and not for kids.

I'd seen this movie and had to have a copy of my own. This is one of those movies you can watch again and again and never get bored. Olivier Martinez is so delicious! And props to Diane Lane. She can give those 20 somethings a run for their money. Richard Gere was o.k. Why did Olivier's character have to die? I hate that. I wonder if there is a book. If you don't already have it, you have to make it a part of your collection.

I say...WOW!! I could watch this movie over and over. Actually, I just saw it on tv the other week and had to sit down and watch it. Also, the soundtrack is awesome (I would recommend it)
Great story line and SEXY! Diane Lane nailed this part.

Great movie, a must see and very interesting for movie lovers. I like the whole plot of the movie and how he investigated to catch her in the act. She tried everything she could to see the other man and she did, but she finally got caught.

This movie had some great actors, and at times, some steamy scenes. It is a reality check to what can happen when you cheat on your spouse. It was a good movie, but not a great one.

the DVd was recived on time and was in very good conition. I higly recommend anyone to do business with.

I saw part of this movie on cable TV. It was so good I decided to purchase it. I was not disappointed and I am keeping the movie as one of my all-time favorites. Watch it a second time for the subtle words, gestures and action.

I really like most movies starring Richard Gere, however, I think if Gere would have been the actor that portrayed the book collector (lover), this movie would have been better; not that Olivier Martinez didn't act his part out well, he DID! I guess it's just that the maturity factor hits home better when Gere is the lusty lover! I purchased the DVD to add to my collection of DVD's of which I have many starring Richard Gere.

I really wanted to see this movie again because of a great sex scene. I forgot what the name of the movie was until the actress was in another movie. I think every woman hopes that someone can make her shake like that.

I love the style of the directing, the music is excellent, the storyline is great up until the ending, not the direction I would have liked to have seen it go. Meanwhile, BAR NONE for any woman, this is some hot love scenes and a must see. Love Olivier Martinez, the accent is enough to make me lose it. Just like her friend said in the cafe-he wouldn't have to ask twice. Do yourself a favor if you are a female, and rent/buy this-you will be greatful you did.
