Samantha Sweeting is a 20 something workaholic attorney who has just made one of the biggest mistakes of her life and wrecked any chance of a partnership with her company (you'll have to read about that boo boo)! Well, Sam is going into meltdown so she leaves her London office and walks like a zombie to the nearest train and gets aboard, not knowing where she is going, and she couldn't care less. She finds herself in front of a beautiful house and rings the door for directions, but is mistakenly taken for the new housekeeper. This book just gets funnier! Anyway, her employers have no idea that she is a lawyer and not the housekeeper they were expecting and on top of that Samantha decides to fake her way through the job, even though she doesn't even know how to turn an oven on, much less cook. She also can't sew or iron. Taking a deep breath she learns to cope with some unexpected help and puts her life back into perspective along the way.
Ms. Kinsella wrote all the "Shopaholic" books in case the name sounds familiar. This book is hilarious and I breezed through it, very sorry it ended! Loads of great fun!

This book is once again quite good from sohpi kinsella! i loved her shopaholic series..this was sort of similar with the main character finding herself lost in mountains of lies! but it was still a good book! if i were to rate this book out of all of her novels id say the shopaholic series was better and more interesting but this is still a good grab! i recommend it to those wanting a good book to read if they havent read the shopaholic series..but to those who have i find its still a good book, some might be disappointed though!...:)

I have read all the Shopaholic books by Sophie Kinsella and have enjoyed them.
When I saw this new book, I decided to order it. I really loved it. I read
it in 3 days. It was light, enjoyable, funny with a hint of mystery. I hated
to put it down. I think Sophie Kinsella has a unique way of writing and would
be an author I would read whenever a new book came out

I love this book, Sophie Kinsella is a great Author, She Makes you laugh, she is just like me, she has a huge liking to shop , shop, shop and deals with what every average woman has to go thru to buy what she wants, She has bills to pay and not enough money to go around. She is one of my favorite authors.

I really liked this book it was very funny and romantic. It did start off a little slow but then it got really good. Im hoping they make a sequel to this book. All of Sophie Kinsella's books are great!

I've been hooked from the very first book. I love these books, they are lighthearted & truly meant for entertainment & relaxation. Even the over 50 crowd can enjoy the muses of Sophie Kinsella.

I love Sophie Kinsella and this is one of my favorites. It is a light, funny read for all audiences to enjoy. I bought this for my grandmother to read while recovering from surgery and I'm sure she'll love it too!

This book is fantastic...what is not to like about Sophie Kinsella. I didn't start reading her works until a little while ago but I really like her humor and it is hard not to laugh out loud when you are reading her books.

I loved all of her Shopahollic books and bought this one for my younger (18 yr old) sister. The book was sold and shipped at a fabulous price and I didn't have to ask the seller anything because they outlined everything on the main page which I think makes a great seller! The only thing that bummed me was that the book arrived (quickly) but in a plastic film USPS bag, and since it wasn't in a hard packaging it made the corners of the book curl a little. But it wasn't a big deal to my sister so I am ok with it. It was a paperback book so it is to be expected I guess. But the seller was great and I still have positive feedback! Because they were on top of everything. And when I mentioned the packaging to them, they immediately sent me a message asking about it which shows they care! Would definately use them again!
