Underworld: Evolution (Blu-ray Disc, 2006)

I have & love both the Underworld movies. Awsome storyline & action. If you enjoy the genre of Blade, Blade II & Blade Trinity...you'll absolutely LOVE this movie. I have both & would enjoy seeing it on Blu-Ray.....

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. The action through out the movie is great as is the acting. A story about a war between vampires and lycons. The weapons each side uses is great to see (not your average silver bullets and wooden stake). The music score goes perfectly with the action going on in the movie. If you like vampire movies this one is a must see!

This was the first Blu-Ray I purchased after buying a PS3, and I have mixed
feelings about it. First, let me say that technically, there is nothing
wrong with the picture quality, and that this does look substantially better
than the DVD. Having said that, I will tell you that this is NOT a good
Blu-Ray to show off your HDTV with. The reason for this is simple: almost the
entire movie happens in nighttime scenes with a blue cast to them. This is
an artistic choice, and it fits the mood of the movie perfectly, however it
also makes detail much harder to see. I'd certainly recommend it to fans of
the movie, but the darkness of the film makes it poor demo material compared
to something like X-men 3 or Stealth.

Great follow-up to Underworld. If you like Vampires and Lycans (Werewolves) you will dig this flick.

Underworld is a great movie from numerous perspectives. It has a good plot even though its rehashing monsters seen in previous films. Underworld creates its own history for these creatures and its own turmoil betweent them. Fortunately in Under world a much better job is done of pitting monster against monster than in films like Alien Vs Predator where there's no dialog or character development. In Underworld you get to know the characters and over the course of the film the truth behind why the war rages on is revealed and the darkest of secrets are uncovered. This is also a great romance or date movie as far as I'm concerned. The two main characters Selene and Michael played respectively by Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman are tragic lovers driven apart by a secret war that has been raging for centuries. Though their love is forbidden fruit they quickly discover that they are each other's last hope in a crazy world of violence and death. No matter how dark it becomes love triumphs in the end.

Already watched the first Underworld and this was just a must have movie. Anyone who has seen the first Underworld or The Covenant and liked them, you can't go wrong with buying this one.

I decided to buy this item because I know horrow/ Sci Fi movies have good sound for 5.1 systems. I now own Blu Ray which means the quality should be better than your average DVD player. I am not big on sci fi however this move graphics are excellent! The sound on 5.1 systems is excellent. If you are new to Blu Ray/ surround sound this is a must buy to test your system out.

Sequel is better than the original. Much faster paced. Better fight scenes and sexier. The color and graphics were superb.

This kind of movie in which the action happen in the darkness, the only way to to see it clear is with the Blu-ray experience. Get it, see it, enjoy it.

I already owned this movie on regular DVD but to see it on Blue Ray was well worth the cost of owning 2 copies of the same movie. You get to see better details in high definition like Kate's fine hairs on her body ect. The movie in general is IMOP a fantastic film its not for everyone but if you like fantasy and sci fi its perfect. I just wish they were going to make a third movie in this series, love the action story line and characters. I am not a movie critic obviously because I give this 5 stars, I watch movies for pure fun not for payment and a bloated ego lol.. Get this one you will love it.

The cover of this Title expresses it all. From the definition to the vivid look that has challenge marked all over it. This body of work creates an exciting scene of events. It has all a person can want from an imaginary world of defiance to succeed the forces of good and bad. The is a must for anyone wanting to conquer more of what plaques are sense of a fantasy world but yet with a modern view.Mixed reviews have been mentioned and written but I must say this to all Watch it and no matter if the negatives and positives are out there . You will be come a statistic on your own review.

I bought the Underworld: Evolution (2006, Blu-ray Disc) three weeks ago and was immediately impressed on this inexpensive movie. It was a title to be in my collection and was in excellent conditions.

Great movie,great picture quality,and great sound from the blu-ray.A must have for the blu-ray owners or just the regular DVD thanks for looking and enjoy.

I bought this 3 weeks ago. This is the first blue ray movie I got with my playstion 3. The picture was great better then a DVD. The sound was even better to. The only thing I don't like is the movie is in letter box, I like full screen. Other then that. I decide to buyone in store but I got a great deel on this.
