Understanding & Using Tarot by Emily Peach (2004, Hardcover)

I have been practicing Tarot since I was 12. I read professionally. I hate to toot my own horn, but I am incredibly familiar with the art of reading Tarot, and I'm obviously long past my days of being dependant on a book to help me read (thank goodness, too, or I might have actually thought this was "good" in some way.) Sometimes, to try read up on beginners books to see if there is any new shiny piece of wisdom in there... This book doesn't contain any shiny piece of wisdom and is to be avoided at all costs. Its quite possibly the worst book on Tarot that I've read and that's saying a lot. Save your money, and try purchasing Tarot: A book for the Apprentice, by Eileen Connolly if you'd like to try to learn Tarot and basically be its master by the end of reading that book.

This book? Well, it sure looks pretty, which is about all it has going for it.
