Understanding the Outboard Motor by Eugene W. Stagner (2002, Hardcover, Subsequent Edition)

This book is good for the classroom, but for the novice, only if he/she wants to concentrate on the large outboards. I need to understand the smaller engines first (2 to 15 hp), and easy to pick-up a small engine that is no good to anyone else just to practice on. For the small outboard user and especially retired, learning to repair your own small engine is a must. Overall, the book is fine for the student.
