If you are reading several of my CD reviews you're probably thinking to yourself "this guy sure has an eclectic taste in music" and you would be right -- as long as having an eclectic taste doesn't require me to like Classical or Country Music then I'm fine. I also enjoy owning CDs that were not commonly available to the USA with this one being one of those. I also own a rare Mark Knopfler "Golden Demos" CD that's often bootlegged or copied, only this is the real thing released only in Germany. Now to Avril's review. This CD shows off Avril's raw natural talent in couple of new songs as well some retakes and another song that seems to be part 2 of Sk8er Boi plus a couple of acoustic tracks. While not my favorite Avril CD to date it is a nice alternative to being spoon fed by the local top 40 stations.
