An Uncommon Woman...excellent book

I had heard this was the definitive work on The Empress Frederick so I decided to buy it, and I was not disappointed. The book is jammed full of exciting facts about the life of a both loved (in England) and hated (in Germany) Empress. The only thing I disliked about it was all the historical details about wars and things going on in the government. This, however, is crucial to the story and could not be omitted. The book is definitely slow in some places but makes up for it with fascinating accounts of The Empress Frederick and her family. A Great Read !!!!!
