Unarmed Fighting Techniques of the Samurai by Masaaki Hatsumi (2008, Hardcover)

This is the most recent book from the Soke of the Bujinkan, Masaaki Hatsumi. It has most of the kata listed in the nine ryuha, and pictures to go by with both English and Japanese text. However, it is best to learn to read the Japanese portion as it is more accurate than the English translations (as with most of his books). I highly recommend this book if you are experienced or new into the art as it can provide a bit of insight and/or idea of what could be learned from the kata. It is best to buy this use it as teaching/learning tool since it has many basics provided in the text.
