Plath's double exposed life...
4 of 4 people found this review helpful.
the best thing abotu this book is that it really higlights how different Plath's inner life was from what she projected at school and with her family. Like the Bell Jar, it gives the reader a keyhole to see into her mental instability. If you'r eat all entranced by her life, you need to read this. Very personal, strong and rivetting. Some of it is mundane, but her obsessions come to light in this book..from how she felt about her husband's infidelity to her characatures of real people (she wrote detailed descriptions of people's outfits, their homes.) Definitely worth the read if you like Plath or her work.
